Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus And Nokia 6 Officially Launched in UAE
HMD Global, the maker of today’s Nokia smartphones, has officially announced that the Nokia 8 Sirocco flagship device, along with the high-end Nokia 7 Plus and the new mid-tier Nokia 6. These devices were unveiled earlier at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona.

The new Nokia 8 Sirocco now comes with an elegant design and its compact style is the ideal blend of precise craftsmanship skills. It features a curved glass finish that envelops the stainless-steel frame to deliver a fusion of rigidity and beauty. The P-OLED 2K display is 5.5-inch in size and features curved edges on either side. Nokia claims that stainless steel frame is 2.5 times stronger than the usual 6000 series aluminum, and the Nokia 8 Sirocco features the 3D Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 that’s robust enough to handle accidental knocks.
Users can now capture detailed images with the new dual rear sensors images with ZEISS optics. The Dual 12MP lenses are divided into one wide-angle and telephoto lens. The cameras are supported with dual pixel phase detection AF and dual-tone flash. The camera also allows for UHD 4K video capture at 30 fps. The 5MP selfie camera on the front is also backed up by ZEISS lens. The Nokia 8 Sirocco also holds a large 3260 mAh battery with fast charge support. The smartphone comes powered by the Snapdragon 835 chip with 6GB RAM and runs on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo OS (based on Android One optimizations for a smooth UI experience).
The Nokia 7 Plus is stated to be made for creators to deliver stunning media content. It’s the combination of innovative and optical hardware, thanks to the enhanced Dual-Sight, dual rear cameras with ZEISS optics. The 12MP wide-angle primary camera offers excellent performance in both low-light and extra bright scenarios and a secondary 13MP camera offers 2x optical zoom for far away subjects. The Nokia 7 Plus is powered by the efficient Snapdragon 660 processor with 4 GB of RAM. And adding to that is a large 3800 mAh battery, which is claimed to offer an amazing 2-day battery life. The vivid 6-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio makes the Nokia 7 Plus go head-on with most of the competitor’s next-gen smartphones
As the successor of the Nokia 6 that was launched in 2017, the New Nokia 6 (2018) offers faster performance and greater new features in a more compact and durable body. Along with the addition of Dual-Sight cameras with ZEISS optics and USB-C fast-charging, better screen-to-body ratio, Nokia spatial audio and more, the device is made out of a solid block of the 6000 series aluminum.
