Huawei Officially Launches The Mate 30 Pro 5G In The UAE
Huawei Consumer Business Group finally unveiled the new HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro 5G to consumers in the United Arab Emirates during a launch event in Dubai. The smartphone boasts powerful 5G capabilities that make it a unique device to support both 5G Non-Standalone (NSA) and Standalone (SA) modes. The new smartphone now comes with an iconic design, a pair of powerful 40MP cameras, long-lasting battery and high speed 5G downloads.

The new Huawei P30 Pro 5G is the company’s latest offering for those who want the fastest mobile internet speeds and while Dubai is now ready for 5G connections, the smartphone is set to future proof customers for high-speed downloads and video streaming on the go. The Huawei P30 Pro 5G sports a large 6.53-inch OLED display and with an impressive screen resolution of 1176 X 2400. The front display comes with a notch on the screen that houses the gesture sensor, the front camera, and other sensors.
Huawei has packed the smartphone with the latest in CPU technologies and the device is powered by the powerful Kirin 990 chipset. The device comes with an internal storage space of 256GB and 8GB RAM. For further expansion, users will be able to use the new Nano memory cards. Huawei claims that the new smartphone is much faster in terms of CPU and GPU performance as compared to the non-5G Mate 30 Pro smartphone. While the device comes with core Android, the company states that there is no Google applications or PlayStore included. Instead, the company has included another app store and promises for a large library of apps. A feature called the Multi-screen Collaboration” allowing collaboration, data transfer and multi-screen operation capability between the Huawei MateBook and smartphones. The new HUAWEI Kirin 990 5G supports all the bands of 2G/3G/4G/5G full net communication, the 5G NSA (non-standalone network) and the 5G SA (standalone network). The new smartphone also brings support for (5G+4G) dual SIM, with one SIM that can support 5G network and the other SIM enabled with a 4G network.
The camera is one of the best features of the device, sporting a total of 4 high-performance image sensors. The design of the camera module appears to be in the form of a halo ring and looks different from the previous model. The wide-angle 40 MP shooter features an aperture of f1.6 and has a sensor size of 1/1.7. The other 40MP image sensor comes with an ultrawide angle and an aperture of f1.8. The image sensor features a size of 1/1.54. There are another 8MP telephoto shooter and a TOF camera. The camera features phase detection autofocus and optical image stabilization. The device is capable of recording videos up to 4K at 60fps and 7680 fps for super slow-motion video recordings along with 4K ultra-wide low-light time-lapse videos.
The fingerprint scanner resides under the main glass screen along with the speaker. There isn’t any headphone jack for the Huawei P30 Pro 5G. The company claimed with a demonstration that the new smartphone has faster 5G download speeds as compared to the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 5G. Huawei also mentioned that the fast charge capability and the reverse charge sharing has improved. The battery features a capacity of 4500 mAh. The smartphones also sport the AI Private View feature that enables the phone to easily detect and identify the user’s face and automatically hide sensitive content when extra faces are detected.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is priced at 3899 AED in the UAE and will come in Orange and Emerald Green colors. Pre-orders will start in January 15th and retailers will start selling them on January 23rd, 2020.
