Fitbit Officially Launches the Ionic Smartwatch in the UAE, Spans Up to 5 Days of Battery Life
Fitbit, one of the leading global wearables brand in the fitness industry, has officially unveiled their first smartwatch called the Fitbit Ionic in the UAE. The new Ionic is touted to feature an impressive five-day battery life and also automatically track activity and sleep hours.

The Ionic is by far the most advanced fitness wearable from Fitbit, offering personal and intuitive guidance to motivate and help you reach your goal while keeping you connected to not miss out any notifications. Users will be able to access workouts and hear out guidance via the Audio Coaching sessions for increasing the endurance and speed. The device is also capable of automatically tracking your run at any time with the new Run Detect feature, which then activates GPS tracking. The Ionic is water resistant up to 50 meters, and also find out your real-time lapse, the duration of the exercise duration and calories burned while swimming.
Thanks to the unique design of the Ionic, the integrated antenna inside Ionic offers a stronger connection to GPS and GLONASS. The wearable also features an enhanced PurePulse heart rate tracking with improved accuracy for exercises like cycling and running, along with better measure for calorie burn, real-time heart rate zones for optimizing intensity, and tracking resting heart rate 24/7. The smartwatch also holds 2.5GB of internal storage, which lets users store and play over 300 songs on the go, along with the support for podcasts. Fitbit also developed a new operating system called the Fitbit OS for the Ionic smartwatch. One of the new applications is the Fitbit App Gallery, where users will be able to choose the apps and clock faces that appeal to them that reflects their own personal needs and style. You get to choose options like Fitbit like Exercise, Fitbit Coach, Relax, Timer and more.
Thanks to the new processes and materials, the Fitbit Ionic is extremely lightweight and features an ergonomic design for comfortable wear for a whole day of use.
