Every attraction is specifically tailored for kids, so much so that children may consider it to be the best waterpark in Dubai. The water is only knee height, and the venue has five to six lifeguards on duty at all times. So, parents can relax knowing that their children are in safe hands.
Splash ‘n’ Party combines lots of lively activities with water-based recreations. An outdoor splash pad area is equipped with water slides and water guns for children to play. Additional entertainment includes music, live stage performances, cupcake decorating, and lots of other arts and crafts activities. Splash ‘n’ Party provides facilities to host birthday parties as well. Party services include having a bouncy castle for hire, inflatable water slides, face painting, magic shows, balloon twisting, and many other attractions.
While the kids enjoy, the adults can unwind here as well. Sit back at the juice bar to cool down with a selection of beverages. You may also want to enjoy delicious snacks from their restaurant. Yas Waterworld, named as Middle East’s Leading Tourist Attraction of 2013, is spread over an area equivalent to 15 football pitches with 45 water-based attractions. The park draws on Abu Dhabi’s heritage with a ‘The Lost Pearl’ theme. Visitors to the park follow the quest of a young Emirati girl, Dana who goes on a journey to recover a legendary pearl lost in a storm. Her quest is guided by several animals such as a dolphin, a camel, and a falcon. While she tries to recover the pearl, few bandits, and a snake follow her to take the pearl for themselves. By the end of the story, her teardrops fall into an oasis which gives rise to a majestic pearl which towers over her village and brings prosperity to the residents. The rides, shops, and restaurants in this park are based on this story with thematic designs all around. The most noticeable structure, the giant pearl, sits on top Jebel Drop, an altitude defying ride that is part of the park’s five one-of-a-kind attractions.
The rides of this park are classified into 4 categories; Adrenaline Rush, Exciting Adventures, Moving & Grooving, and Young Fun. There are five one-of-a-kind rides that are unique to this park. The Falcon’s Falaj is 300 metres high with lots of twists, turns, and rapids. It is officially the longest water coaster ride in the Middle East. Bubble’s Barrel is the world’s largest surf-worthy sheet wave. It has 3m high waves that two people can ride at once. The Bandit Bomber is the only suspended water rollercoaster of the Middle East.
